ActiveGamers is a rapidly growing premiere gaming organization designed to create a positive impact in the Los Angeles area by providingin-person tournaments and parties for the competitive and non-competitive gaming community. We provide an opportunity for people to interact socially through competitive and casual gaming at an affordable price. Both national and international gamers attend our events from the Street Fighter IV, Tekken6, Blazblue, and Brawl communities. Our partnership with UFragTv affords many more people the opportunity to share in the fun through live online streaming. OurTekken6 launch party tournament, drew more than 42,000 live viewing streams.
Active Gamers' vision is to provide a safe haven for youth in the Southern California and ultimately expand into more altruistic ventures.

John Nelson, founder and a gamer himself, is the keeper of the vision for Active Gamers: to facilitate the transformation of gaming into a unified recognized league-style activity on a par with professional sports. World-wide streaming/televised coverage is a part of this vision. He intends to put So Cal on the map as the leading geographical hub for pro and casual gamers.
Mr. Nelson believes this potential can only be reached through uniting the gaming community’s national and ultimately international respected leaders with and major corporate players in the common vision.
Ultimately, Mr. Nelson intends to use the success of Active Gamers as a financial conduit to help those in need.

Kings and kings of kings would trade a thousand horses to have Jacob Melby join their ranks. He supports the mission of Active Gamers in every way with undying committment to having all the details surrounding each event in place. Rock solid and cool in the chaos.
 REJ KAY Lead Tournament Orgainzer
Nearly a year and half as a competitive player and host, Rej Kay is bringing other gamers to the spotlight on a national scale at Active Gamers. Mr. Kay has participated competitively in games such as Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, Street Fighter IV, Blazblue, and Dance Dance Revolution.
